Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the age of 14. She studied boxing, kickboxing and wrestling prior to making her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd became more confident after the win and fought 3 bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents were all defeated in the 1st round. Then she returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia defeated Aspen to beat her a unanimous decision, putting a black mark on Ladd's record as an amateur. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent bout against Roma Pawelek to improve to a record of 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in 2015, signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut. The InvictaFC11 fight was her first professional bout. She was a rout of Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. Invicta took on her in the Bantamweight division and was victorious via submission armbar in the 2nd round. Aspen used her superior wrestler skills to knock down McGill and ended her fight via third-round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in the weight of a "catchweight"(138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd was unable to put on weight. Aspen, however, dominated Hoy by using TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her final promotion bout. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina and ground-and-pounded her in the second round to secure a TKO victory. She maintained her dominance and picked up another big win over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd beat Evinger in the very first round and was awarded a prize for her performance on the evening. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks for her first significant fight. Ladd won the night's fight bonus after both fighters fought hard in a tense fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds, putting an end to her win streak. Following a brief break after which she went on to beat Yana Kunizkaya in UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In a match that was a replacement in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
